A low-handicaps player has a single-digit handicap, meaning he or she generally scores less than 10 strokes over par, or an 82 or less on a par-72 course. If you re in this camp, you ll want to pack your bag with high-performance clubs that can maximize your abilities.

Such golf equipment includes a driver and at least one other wood, such as the 3 wood. Pack your low irons, too, such as the 3 or 4 iron. Players with your skill can accurately hit these normally difficult-to-it clubs, and these clubs can make reaching the green from 200 plus yards out a cinch. You can best manage mid-range approach shots with the high trajectory irons, your 8, 9, and pitching wedge. Of course, you ll want your sand wedge, as well, in the unlikely event you sail one onto the beach.
