Always Take the Insurance
When you rent a car, you are asked if you want to purchase the optional insurance plan with the car while you are driving it. This is something that you should never pass up. The insurance is there incase there is ever any damage done to the vehicle while in your care.
For example if you hit another car of some one else hits the car and runs. This will protect you from having to pay for the damages with your own pocket money. The insurance is usually cheap, however many people decide not to get the insurance to try to save a buck. You will not save anything if you have an accident and are responsible to pay for all the damages without the insurance.
